If you've spent years feeling like you're working twice as hard for half the results, I want you to know something first: it's not a lack of effort. It's not laziness. And it's definitely not a character flaw.
I know this personally, not just professionally. I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, at 62, after more than three decades of working as a clinical professional. That diagnosis reframed everything, not just for my clients, but for me.
So when people ask what ADHD coaching actually looks like, here's my honest answer: it's not another planner, another app, or another list of tips you already know and can't seem to stick to. Real ADHD coaching starts by understanding how your brain actually works, not how it's "supposed" to work.
Most of my clients come to me having already tried the obvious things. Calendars. Reminders. Willpower. And most of them are exhausted from blaming themselves every time those things stopped working. Here's the truth: those tools weren't built for the ADHD brain in the first place. That's not your failure. That's a mismatch.
Coaching looks different. We start with what's actually happening for you, the overwhelm, the overthinking, the unfinished projects, the shame that's built up over years of feeling like you should be doing better. From there, we build systems and strategies that work with your brain instead of against it, things like emotional regulation tools, external-brain systems, and self-hypnosis techniques that quiet the noise instead of adding to it.
This is also the foundation behind the ADHD Wellness Shield™, a framework I created because I don't believe one strategy, one app, or one fix was ever going to be enough. ADHD wellness touches nearly every part of life, and your plan should reflect that.
If any of this sounds familiar, I want you to know that a different kind of progress is possible, and it doesn't start with trying harder.

If you'd rather start on your own tonight, my book The Cluttered Mind is a great first step.
Whichever way you begin, I'm glad you're here.
